We have just found out that the dam for the reservoir featured in this video has burst and all the water has washed away.  This reservoir served the daily water needs of at least 10,000 people and more than 6,000 livestock animals.  The cost for repairing the dam is cost prohibitive and new rain will not fall in this area before next December.  The closest water source for these people is now 10 kilometers (6 miles) away one-way.  Please pray for the people of these villages and for our efforts to raise enough money to build a safe drinking well in this area.  We have already raised about half of what we need, but need to start digging in order to have safe water before this winter's rains completely dry up.  Thank you.
